Topic: Results

Q: Are you guys handicappers like all of the other sports services on the world wide web?

Straight and to the point…NO!  We are investors who choose sports wagering over typical investment vehicles such as the stock market, real estate etc. We are trend analysts who have dedicated ourselves to finding value in areas of sports wagering that are currently in use, as well as to discover new concepts and sports investing strategies of our own in areas that others have overlooked.   

Q: What is the past result from the previous year for your strategies?

This information can be found by going to the “our results” tab from the homepage on the website. It shows every official selection from every day for each of the sports that are currently part of our program. 

Q: Wow...you guys have a great win rate. So with this great win rate I should not lose more than a few in a row ever right?

No. This is not the case. There will be periods of losses. There will be days, days in a row, losing weeks, and most likely some losing months. We do not gauge our success by these measurements, but rather over the sports season and year. Our clients should not use these as measurement for their anticipated profit either. The best way to show typical results is to view the "our results" section and scroll through the days and weeks. 

Q: So, I see many handicappers of sports with considerably better winning percents.  Why come to Pluslinesports as opposed to others? 

There will always be handicappers that get hot and streak. There always will be. Look at the odds of the games that are being won over the long run. I see win rates of 65-80%, but I also see odds that are close to 90% of the time (or more) negative odds.

In other words it takes a very very high win rate to be profitable over a season. The hot streaks never last over the entire season and even if they did, the profits are small due to the low odds. Many professional handicappers can successfully hit 55-58%, very rarely over 62% for the season even with average odds like -190 to -200 over the season.

Do the math on this and you see that you have just lost money...lots of it! Our philosophy is to find the daily selections with reasonable minus or plus odds with the greatest likelihood of winning.  So far we have successfully done this and consistently placed money in our clients pockets over the season.

Q: What time are the selections available for subscribing clients to view?  

We email and post the selections around 11:00 pm. central standard U.S. time for the next days games..

Topic: General Questions 

Q: What sports do you provide?

Currently we provide  NBA, WNBA and NCAA Basketball, NHL Ice Hockey, MLB Baseball and European Football Soccer.

NBA Basketball: Games are against the spread.

WNBA Basketball: Games are against the spread.

NCAA Basketball: Games are primarily small moneyline favorites of odds ranging from -100 to -115.

MLB Baseball: Games are a mix between totals(over/unders) and moneyline underdogs. Totals odds range primarily from +105 to -115, while underdogs odds typically range from +100 to +115.

European Football(Soccer): Games are from Asian Handicap with odds ranging from 1.8(-125) to 2.10(+110), and from totals(over unders) with odds ranging from 2.0 to 2.6(+100 to +160).

Q: I want to be a member of Pluslinesports for the season, but I am afraid that the service might not be available next year and beyond. What are the plans for continued service? 

We have literally spent thousands and thousands of hours developing the forecasting models over the last 4 years before making our service available. Our plan is to be around for years to come. We currently have clients in 65 countries, and growing!

Q: How much money can I expect to make?

This is the million dollar question! It is going to depend on how disciplined you are and how well you follow along every day over the sports period that you subscribe for.

Q: How much time each day is placing these wagers going to take me?

Approximately 5  minutes per day once you become accustomed to your sports book web site. Probably closer to 3-4 minutes per day.

Q: Do you have an affiliate program? What is an affiliate?

Yes! We do. An affiliate is someone who knows other people that are interested in investing with our service. An affiliate then gets a percentage of the sales for those services when those new clients sign up with PlusLineSports. If you feel that you know someone, or a group that is interested, simply email us and we will give you the details on this? In short, it is a very simple way to make money because all you do is offer referrals and collect CA$H!

Topic: Selections

Q: How many selections do I get for each of the sports?  

This is like asking an investor “How many investments will you make today?” A savvy investor does not set a goal for a specific number of investments on a given day, nor do we. We analyze every game within every sport that we offer. If we find games that match our criteria we send these games to our clients. If we do not find a game for a specific sport for a given day we will pass to the following day and review those games accordingly.  

Q: Does the season package prices include playoff games as well? 

Yes it does. We review these games just as we do the regular season games.

Q: Do you email daily selections to clients? 

Yes, we do email the daily weekly selections to our clients. Email is important so that our clients can get the selections early and take advantage of the best value for the lines on a given day/selection.

Topic: Money Management

Q: How much bankroll do I need? When should I raise my wager amounts or lower them?  

We love this question. The problem is that not many people want to hear the answer. 5%. No more than a total of 5% of your bankroll on a single event.  So, if you start with a $2,000 bankroll, this means...yes,..$100. Sorry power gamblers!

You should stay with the same $ amount for a period until which time you have increased your bankroll from where you started by around 25%, then you could consider raising the amounts. At that point you will want to recalculate your 5% of your new bankroll amount and use this dollar amount as your new maximum wager amount for a single event. DO NOT try to recalculate your bankroll 5% after each win or loss...you will not be pleased with this result! The same rules apply in the event that your bankroll shrinks by 25%. 

Q: Are we to place our wagers to "risk" or to "win"?

ALWAYS "risk". When we offer suggested wager amounts these are always the risk amount, and not the "to win" amount. This is extremely important!!!

Q: I have lost several in a row, a week, or even a month...my bankroll is going up and down now for a while...what gives? 

THIS IS A MARATHON AND NOT A SPRINT! If you don't have the discipline and the patience to follow the program OVER A PERIOD OF TIME...please look elsewhere for strategies with another service that best suits a gamblers goals.

We cannot and will not attempt to cater to philosophies where there are recommendations to double wager amounts after losses or offer a 5 or 10 star (unit) special or any other garbage of the like. There are no such thing as locks in sports betting.

The only locks are the ones that they secure the stadiums with as they are closing the building after the games. Over the sports year we will generally offer around 1,500 selections covering all sports. A single event will then represent appx. 1/1500 of all the events over the sports year. Please do not waste your time (nor ours) by sending emails that ask questions about short term performance.

There will be streaks of all kinds within each sport. We know this in advance and our clients must understand this as well. WE STRIVE TO MAKE A PROFIT FOR OUR CLIENTS OVER THE SEASON, and OVER THE LONG TERM. We do not change the way we select our teams for selections. This is a format and filter system (for each sport) and does not change as we go along, but occasionally we do make adjustments to our filters. We do this to ensure maximum profitability for our clients. 

Q: Is Pluslinesports selections the same as Golden-System selections?  Who is the PLS Team?

No. They are very different. Totally different methods and results. Pluslinesports is a partnership between Frank Belanger and James Dodson, and is the only service we have that offers exclusive selections from the enhanced filtering system that are currently used.
